This place is a real find, I don't often come away impressed by service or quality of food and lodgings but I have with the Bridgetown hotel. The room was the King room, No1, which I can recommend. A lovely room very nicely furnished with King bed, plenty of storage, room to move, comfortable and attractive lounge furniture in the room. The bathroom and spa were great. The room was clean and well presented. The verandah is great and the outdoor setting generous and comfortable. The only thing missing from the room was some chilled water. The publican was obviously tired and under pressure but was generous with his time, pleasant and informative. The bar staff were quick and professional as were the wait staff in the restaurant. The food was better than anticipated and I would rate it four out of five. Five being high end fine dining. It was not overly expensive and I thought it was good value. It really was a surprise how good the food was, I won't be staying anywhere else when and if I'm next in the area.
